Strangely, he passes on as Hawaii Five-O is reborn with a new cast. He never even got his obligatory guest appearance. Such is the continuing cycle of Buddhism.

Son (adopted)  of actress Helen Hayes and Charles MacArthur, playwright and screenwirter ("The Front Page" and "Angels With Dirty Faces" among others.

Formerly married to Joyce Boulifont and Melody Paterson (hmmm......two nice childhood memories), and his uncle was the "John D." in the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.

He's bookin' 'em now.........
