Steve Gardner - RIP

Roseville, California surveyor Steve Gardner (http://www.rpls.com/profile/30), contributor of over 5500 posts on this website, died earlier this week of cancer at the age of 58.

Just getting in from being on the road - that's a real shame, always enjoyed Steve's posts and thoughts, a great guy - he'll be missed.

I never had the opportunity to meet Steve in person; however, we did exchange a number of emails. I am saddened by this news. My thoughts and prayers are with Kathy and the rest of his family during this difficult time.

Never met Steve, but felt like he was family....sad loss for the surveying community and for his family....always enjoyed his posts...RIP Brother...

Knew through the POB family and had email communication, unfortunately never got to meet on one of my trips . A great  loss to the surveying profession.

This is sad. I just opened my computer after a few days away for vacation and saw this. RIP Steve!

Although I did not know Steve he once helped me find the author of a blues song. He was a very nice man. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and I will alway remember how he was a help to me.
