I've got an opp. to work in Kuwait for a year with ITT Mission Systems.....can anyone give me the lowdown on civilian employment in the region.....cost of living.....average hourly rate.....I'll prob. be at Camp Arijan...... (sp)?
You might try an ex-pat website for links to that info. One such site is www.escapeartist.com . I've only been to Kuwait once and was employed by an American company at the time. My contacts there are also employed by a U.S. company that provides housing. I hope the website helps you. It's a very rich country and I imagine prices are high, but most of the ex-pats I know who have worked in the Middle East contract with their employer to get their housing provided as part of their contract.
