Kite Photogrammetry

Posted by Landon Blake on Sep 20, 2010 4:30 pm

This is my first post on the new POB message board.

Any of you guys ever tinker around with Kite photogrammetry? I've got a couple of hobby projects I am working on, and I was thinking about trying this out for some low altitude aerial photos.

I'd like to hear from you if you have tried it.

There's a major differance between photogrammetry and aerial photography.
Kite aerial photography could give some awesome oblique photos, but you would have a problem trying to extract photogrammetric data in the form of stereo models.
