  • j svenjacob (Jul 19, 2010) Well done - I bought 3 copies of the text and handed them out to my staff. It contains math, formulas for civil/survey and lots of procedures for Civil 3D. Three chapters are dedicated to surveyors for point development, traversing and data collection. Geometry is included for alignments and parcels. Obviously, it has short, succinct instruction for all other design features and the data sets all have a "complete" drawing to see if the procedure results are correct. It is the only text that includes theory plus procedures for using the software. Bottom line is this is the only text that spends some time with surveyors on Civil 3D. Works for us! JSJ
